On Your Own Or With Help: Part 3 of 7: When To Get Organizing Help
Do you sometimes wonder if you can get organized by yourself or if you’ll need someone’s help and, if so, who the best person might be? If that’s the case, this series will help you find your answer.
If you struggle with any of the following you will benefit from getting some kind of assistance:
Getting started
Getting distracted
Finishing
Feel overwhelmed
Feel it’s too hard
Making decisions
Don’t know where to put what you have
Don’t know what organizational systems would be best for you
Struggle with letting go of things
If you labor with scheduling, follow through or decision making you will most likely have more organizing success with some help. If you grapple with making time to organize, or have planned time to do it and then get distracted, you will probably do better with help. If you started on an organizing goal and then didn't finish it because it was too hard or too overwhelming you will benefit from the right person's help. If you struggle with what to keep and what to let go, how and where to keep things and other organizing decisions you will benefit from someone's help.
Maybe you are good at some of the things mentioned above but not others. You might consider getting help with the parts you struggle with and doing the other parts on your own. In other words, do what you can do and get help where you need it.
Thankfully there are people who can help you reach your goals. The rest of this series will look at different kinds of help so you can determine which one or ones will be most beneficial for you.
In the rest of this series we’ll explore:
