Life can sometimes be tough.  Why do we pretend that everything is perfect?  And why do we think we are strong enough to not accept help?  There IS help.  Joyopolis has two loving people who are qualified to help you through those life difficulties.  They specialize in differing areas, so depending on your need, Kim, our Community Coordinator, will match you up.  Each offers a 10-15 minute free phone, Skype or Facetime call to provide a listening ear and helpful advice.  If, after 10 to 15 minutes, you feel the need for additional time, depending on their availability, you may book an appointment with them.  Additional charges vary between each specialist.

Charlene Laird

Charlene Laird is a retired Special Education teacher who now teaches and facilitates soul healing prayer. Even though Charlene accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a child, in the early 70’s she experienced a life-changing encounter with God’s love. In the years that followed this encounter, she was introduced to soul healing prayer. She has used her own healing experiences to minister more effectively to others. The reality that the healing power of Jesus could resolve past pain and bring truth to the lies she had believed about God, herself and others created a passion to not only learn more about Jesus but to experience His constant presence. Her commission is Isaiah 61:1-3.

Charlene has taught Life Model training for several years. She also leads retreats and small group Bible studies.

Her leisure time is spent gardening, crafting, and sharing meals and fun with family and friends.

Charlene and her husband, David have raised 5 adopted children and their family now includes 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grands. Home turf is Leesburg, Florida.
