Do you often get too busy to really stop and think or stop and breathe in and refresh? Do you find it’s easier to just keep going, doing what you’ve been doing? But what if what you’re doing, organizationally speaking, isn't working so well? That’s when a scenic detour can be your perfect stop and your vantage point of new inspiration.

A scenic detour is a place deemed worthy to get off the fast lane, to stop, a place to take in the view, to see beauty, be surprised by the unexpected, a place to be motivated, refreshed, to breath deeply, be inspired, to feel joy. It’s a place where you fill back up inside and carry the beauty of what you just saw and experienced with you as you move back into your life lane. A scenic detour is worthy of your time, so stop as often as you need to, to get refreshed and inspired, before carrying what you’ve gleaned back into your organizing ventures.

In upcoming parts of this series we’ll explore:

Part 2 - Inspiration from Within
