How To Organize Your Day Part 2 of 3
Trying to stay on task of having an organized, productive day can be difficult.
The one thing that can make the most dramatic change for your day is having routines that you follow no matter what.
Now, I understand your schedule can get pretty crazy on any given day and they may constantly look different from one day to the next. However, having a morning and evening routine can make ALL the difference in maintaining your JOY through all the madness.
MORNING ROUTINES
Starting the morning off with stress and chaos can derail your entire day. Below are some great ideas to create a healthy morning routine.
Try starting with a cup of coffee or tea and sitting quietly reading or meditating for 15 minutes. This will help power you up and give you the right perspective to start your day.
Fit some sort of exercise in for cardio purposes like a brisk walk or run or possibly a yoga or stretch video even if only for 15 minutes. You can find FREE ones online.
Take 10 minutes to do a ‘brain dump’ to get your thoughts sorted out for the day.
Journal three things you are grateful for.
Eat a healthy breakfast or make your favorite smoothie to kickstart your metabolism.
Warning: Resist being sucked into emails or social media first thing in the morning!
Incorporate one or more of the above ideas to set you up to tackle your day with JOY.
Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour to spare, committing to these habits for a few weeks will establish a routine that can be a game changer for your day.
