My husband and I travel a lot to minister in different parts of the country and to visit our grown children and their families in other states. It is not unusual for us to stay with a pastor and his family while ministering at their church or stay with our kids. So we have the privilege of seeing many different homes and loving some of the ideas we see.

As you visit your friends, family and neighbors in their homes, take a look around and see what seems to work well. How do they handle storage issues especially in high use areas like family rooms, kitchens, entryways and bathrooms? What items do you see out and what items might be put out of sight? What are your biggest organizing and storage issues? How do your friends, family and neighbors seem to handle these issues? What can you learn from these homes and use as you continue on your organizing journey?

In the final part of this series we’ll explore:
